Leo and its decan constellations Hydra, Crater and Corvus describe the end of time as we know it. Leo represents Jesus as a full-grown lion leaping up on enemy Hydra, the serpent that’s been difficult to kill. However, Crater, the cup of the wine of wrath, has been poured out on the enemy. Jesus is then represented as Corvus, the crow, tearing the Hydra serpent to shreds. Leo describes the final clean-up before the “new heavens and new earth” are created. The end of this sign constitutes the beginning of a new time where there will be no more tears, sickness and war, a time that will never end.
